The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his debts and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the party reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to journey toward the northern region in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the combat party will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Explorers and Strategists groups.

Fans can look forward to finding out which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
